This exploratory study examined the people most likely to reduce their exercise levels as a result of a decline in greenspace quality and accessibility. The findings showed that there are over 4.5 million regular walkers in English greenspace and of these almost 500,000 would be unlikely to substitute their current level of greenspace exercise for exercise elsewhere.
