Farm Resilience Plans are a concept initially developed by Natural England as a way of raising awareness among the farming population of climate change threats and opportunities for their faming and land management systems. The aim of this pilot project was to consider whether a planning approach can be developed that uses the best available evidence, integrates the natural environment and agricultural systems, recommends adaptive actions and is a practical training tool for farm managers planning the future management of their holdings.
