Production of a draft modelled marine boundary extension for the Isles of Scilly SPA (NECR259)

Natural England commissioned HiDef Aerial Surveying Limited to conduct a detailed analysis of potential data sources describing shag Phalacracorax aristotelis distribution around the Isles of Scilly during the breeding season. This work was commissioned to determine suitable feeding and maintenance areas for the species, in turn to identify most suitable territories for a Special Protection Area proposal around the islands, and to define boundaries around these territories.
