Presents the findings of a project which looked at English Nature’s natural greenspace standards model in order to determine whether its validity could still be supported, how local authorities were managing greenspace policy and how the standards might be promoted effectively in the new and changing policy environment. The project aimed to build on work published in English Nature Research Report No. 153, Accessible Natural Greenspace in towns and cities – a review of appropriate size and distance criteria (1995).
