Climatalogical Data for Agricultural Land Classification (ALC010)

This document, published by the Meteorological Office in 1989, describes and lists the location, altitude and climatic data used when grading land within the Agricultural Land Classification (ALC) of England and Wales (MAFF 1988). The methods used to interpolate data are also described. It is being made available for the classification of agricultural land according to the 1988 MAFF ALC system.
