Defining ‘old growth’ in the UK context: A report prepared for English Nature by the Ancient Tree Forum (ENRR494)

This report on old growth in the UK context was produced as a discussion document. It provided historical perspectives, discussion of views canvassed from a variety of contacts, and suggested a way forward for the UK which it was hoped would be acceptable to the conservation, ecology and forestry sectors.
