This project aims to identify the location and extent of biogenic reef (mussel beds) in the Torbay element of the Lyme Bay and Torbay cSAC. There is currently some limited evidence of this subfeature’s presence in the area however the data is limited. This survey will also collect information a number of attributes of this subfeature including biotope composition, species composition and distribution and extent of notable biotopes and species. It is expected that this project will be carried out in collaboration with CEFAS and the Devon and Severn IFCA.
