This study was commissioned by English Nature to identify environmental enhancement opportunities in advance of the production of second generation Shore Management Plans (SMPs). Facilitated workshops were used to gather information about biodiversity opportunities. This report collates the outcomes of the workshops and provides a breakdown of the biodiversity opportunities in the Natural Areas by using the published SMP policy units. Each chapter of the report provides a brief description of the ecology, geology, geomorphology, land use and infrastructure across the full extent of the Natural Areas.
