Cumbria Coast Marine Conservation Zone Littoral Rock Baseline Survey 2015 (RP02862)

The intertidal rock features in the Cumbria Coast MCZ were surveyed in September/October 2015 by APEM. The survey focused on the broad-scale habitat feature High Energy Intertidal Rock and the habitat feature of conservation importance Intertidal Underboulder Communities. The survey used transects and quadrats as well as a specific underboulder assessment method for that aspect of the work. This report analyses the survey findings and provides preliminary opinions of feature condition.
