Marine Natural Areas take account of natural processes and the interaction between them, the underlying geology and wildlife. They offer a biogeographic framework within which to develop and implement an ecosystem approach to managing human uses of the marine environment. The information contained within this report provided advice on the nature conservation value of large areas of sea.
