It complements and supports other initiatives such as the Government’s Marine Stewardship process; the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs’ developing Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy; the England Biodiversity Strategy; and the Review of Marine Nature Conservation.
