The lowland heathland management handbook (ENS08)

The aim of this handbook published in 1992 was to provide practical guidelines for the management of lowland heathlands where the primary objective is conservation. It draws together information and advice from a variety of sources, some of them published and some consisting of the accumulated wisdom of experienced practicioners. This pre Natural England document is being published as part of our work to share our evidence and make it available online.
