The work described here provides an assessment of the hydrological data, gives details of the 1995 monitoring of vegetation and invertebrates, and draws together the information from the previous years, in an attempt to assess whether the water supply augmentation scheme has been (and will be) adequate to prevent any detrimental changes to the flora and fauna caused by water abstraction. The main text of this report provides a summary of the assessments of the hydrological, vegetation and invertebrate monitoring programmes.
