A preliminary report on work at Narborough Bog, a site of Special Scientific Interest on the floodplain of the River Soar. The work involved ongoing measurements of water table variations at the field site to clarify the relationship of the wetland water table to hydrometeorlogical conditions and fluctuations in river stage. The results were used to develop a transient groundwater model of the site hydrology.
